The China Shop is a new and contemporary fine art gallery in East Oxford. By focusing on early to mid-career artists exhibiting nationally and internationally, The China Shop aims to add to Oxfords rapidly diversifying art scene. The artists who will be invited to exhibit here are currently showing in cities such as London, Liverpool and Glasgow and who, until now, have had few opportunities to exhibit in Oxford. Although technically a commercial gallery, The China Shop’s main priority is the artists it works with and opening their practice to the public.
