' EXPLORING PRINT' with the intaglio press. A workshop day of Monoprint and Drypoint . A chance to make intaglio prints without the use of acids. Drawing into acrylic plates which can also be layered with rolled colour and collaged chine colle papers as they are put through the press. . Lots of possibilities with simple means.

At the end of the day you will have a printing plate and a variety of prints . You do not have to have previous experience . Materials are provided . Refreshments included.

Crossing the Line is a powerful and interactive performance which explores safeguarding issues in a sporting context and is delivered by the Geese Theatre Company

The audience is invited to consider a range of issues including the way in which perpetrators of abuse can use sport to groom potential victims; the role of the welfare officer; whistleblowing; the impact of abuse on the individual, the club and the sport; and the benefits of a pro-active rather than reactive approach to safeguarding.

In this weekend workshop, tutor Amanda Beck will be offering students a unique opportunity to develop their skills in life drawing as well as drawing the moving figure (on the second day we will be drawing from an Egyptian Dancer) through a combination of both analytical and intuitive approaches to drawing as well as experimenting with a range of techniques and materials. It will cover proportion and measurement, form and rhythm, structure and details, gesture and mood. All abilities welcome (some experience of figure drawing would be an advantage)

A full week of designing and making stained glass. Suitable for beginners and those whith some skills. Start with a simple set project and then go on to design and create your own panel.
